Been seeing this girl from work (not in the same department) and things were going well, lots of talk about plans for the future and all the things we’ve got in common with good banter. We’ve slept together a few times, she was telling me she can’t get enough of me and she’s not normally like this with guys and I have what she wants in a partner
I’ve never thought of it as a friends with benefits/situationship by the way we’ve been talking about introducing me to her family… she even sent me a message on New Years at midnight to say ‘happy new year babe ❤️’ while she was away with the girls in another town
Three days later and I tried to set up another date to get a response saying ‘if I’m being completely honest I actually like you a lot but I know I’m not ready for a relationship and I need to break this off because I know I can’t make time for you - if we carry this on it’s going to get very complicated’ and things like ‘I don’t want this to get serious and end badly that’s why I’m doing this now’
I responded saying I respect her decision and not going to try change her mind but I’m left a little confused by it all, she’s dropped it out of nowhere. It makes me think there’s more to it or has she just got cold feet?
