Ex Calling through fake numbers and not saying anything?

My ex broke up with me. Gave me his reasons I accepted it and respected his wishes. He treated me badly during the break up gave my number to some of his friends. It’s been 4 months. Since then I haven’t reached out. Why does he call from fake numbers not say anything and hang up. Why is he creating fake numbers? Is this a tactic to manipulate? Can someone give me an insight on this. Why would a man that doesn’t want you do this? To make you feel like shit? Thank you in advance!

there is a google app, for burner numbers you can get numbers in your area. he misses you and immature instead of just saying i miss you , then also to hear your voice and see if anyones with you. its not you its him he's immature with his feelings

It was to prank call me. He gave out my number to his friends to prank me. Like I’m a mean way.

I’m 100 percent sure. I don’t get prank calls at all. The only people that haven’t number are my family members and him. I did think maybe it is his friends but if it was they would say something like prank me. The fact that I pick up say hello and no one says nothing I know it’s him. I just don’t understand why? Is this a manipulation tactic like I’m trying to understand. I’m naive.

Whatever his reasons are, the best thing for you to do is stop answering numbers that you don’t recognize. If a caller is someone important, they’ll leave a message and you can call them back. Start screening your calls, basically.
