Ex contacted me a year later?

Ex called me out of the blue a year later... I was expected an apology, friendship, or another chance. When I picked up the first thing she said If I wanted to buy a Lamborghini from her. I thought it was a ice breaker joke, but it wasn't as she told me a life update that not only she sells houses but got a new job selling Lambos. She was speaking really fast and in a rush, then she told me that her battery was running out and she left her charger in Los Vegas and will call me back when she get another charger, before she disconnected she told me she needed help moving to her new apartment and to contact her friend in which i did not know her number to help her and then she disconnected after 1 minute and 30 seconds of talking. Its been 4 days and she has not called me back and I am wondering was she just too nervous to talk to me since it has been a year and I should make a move and call back to see whats up or was this just an attempt to use me?

If this goes over a week, you should probably block her. I say a week bc it sounds like you would still like to help her. If my ex called me, I’d let my phone ring. Anyway by a weeks time if she really does need to emergency move or something she’ll have the particulars together. Even then so I’d still be cautious bc if her tone was a rapid as you say I would be suspicious of a dangerous set up. Las Vegas, selling Lambos, and a lost charger but she still needs to move. Sounds crazy to me and like she got mixed into the wrong something, girl bye.

Anyone who reaches out later on is bad news! This is actually a sign of a Narcissist. My ex was the worst thing that ever happened to me. I told her a year prior I wasn’t interested. She reached out to me a year later and stupid me gave her another chance. The reason they reach out later is because they lost a supply source and think you are a great backup. Just be careful.
