I’m in the middle of divorcing husband of 4 years after he began cheating on me, stealing my money to give to his drug addict mother and abusing me mentally, physically and sexually.
I have since moved out, and recently found out that my mother and grandparents are still talking to my ex even after I told them what had been going on and even after he had borrowed $1,000 from my grandmother after the divorce and never paid her back.
They always say “I don’t think he would do those things” or “oh that’s just how he was raised”.
(Not surprised as He was always extremely charming and helpful to them and infront of them).
It’s been over a year since i left and I am the happiest I have ever been but now I have found out that my family has been giving him every detail they can find out about me. Including that I have met someone that treats me like an absolute queen.
Apparently they tell him EVERYTHING. Like where I live now, when I will be out of the country, where I work etc. Dispite me asking them not to.
I love my family, but this isn’t okay with me.
Is there anything I can do to make them stop talking to him?
I was to hear options that don’t include cutting them out of my life first. Although I have a feeling that may need to happen 😔
