The man I love is moving away...

I asked 'what will happen to us?', he said 'there is no us'. But he still contacts me and sees me every now and again (and his friends still think of me as his girl).

He is just about to move in a few days, and I hadn't heard from him for a week.

I am trying to move on and realize that it has to be that way.

The other night, I met another guy and we ended up kissing and more. This other guy knows a mutual acquaintance/friend of the guy I love.

I just realized that what if MY guy (ex guy?) finds out about my night with this other guy? It could happen, since the mutual friend could pass it on.

I don't know if the guy I love still thinks we are together or not; but when he finally rang (after a week of no contact), I did NOT tell him that I was with another guy.

Its not technically cheating because with him moving away and saying 'there is no us', plus the lack of contact, I kind of assumed that what is left of our relationship is pretty much over.

But MY guy may not see it that way and if he found out, would definitely hate me and I would lose him completely from my life.

Well, he has no right to hate you. He said himself, "There is no us." You're free to kiss whoever you want. If you're not in an exclusive relationship, and he's made it clear that you're not, he isn't allowed to tell you that you can't be with someone else. The truth is, if he really wanted to be with you, he would be. But it seems like all you are to him is a backup plan. I'm sorry, that sounds really harsh, but, hun, you deserve SO much better.
