So good!!! I think you have a very good point!! I, personally, also have high standards but not about money. I like a guy that looks after himself and dresses well. The guy doesn't have to have money but ambition and backbone go a long way in my books. I also like a guy that has his life together.. I have dated guys that just sit back and wait for life to happen and it frustrated the hell out of me.
People are freaking paranoid of rejection from someone they approach. I can understand the concern of weirdos, but you're going to meet those types regardless, and they tend to prey on the shy, not the assertive. From my experience, although I hate the initial adrenaline rush, its ENORMOUSLY satisfying to walk away from a social encounter that I had the courage to initiate, even if it goes south. If we did that more, maybe we could meet that one guy/girl that lives up to our standards.
sounds like you've had some bad experiences...
I think everyone should have a standard of what they want and not settle for less. People will put their standards wherever they want - if they want more than I can offer it's their choice, I don't care. If some put their standards above what they can get that's their problem as well. Everyone is different in what they want
I don't know about the other guys, but I'm not salty AT ALL. This is an amazing take! I have the same standards as you and I have the same problem with women instead (there are too many hoes with no lives) so I get where you're coming from here even though I'm still young as hell. Great take!
Very bad take, I can tell you are old-fashioned and sexist, I agree with the core idea but the way you wrote it shows your personality, which is something that I recommend you should try to hide if you are going to keep high standards, because I'm sorry to say a decent guy will want a woman with a nice personality
And I don't know why you wrote this just for girls. It's okay for men to have high standards too
Also I don't understand 2, surely it's the opposite. If you get an uglier guy he is more likely to pay for you cause he won't want to lose you, whereas a hot guy knows you won't want to lose him and so would be more likely to make you pay for stuff
From all this, I understood that you dated a PUSSY!
I wonder how you proceeded dating that person when you knew that he was working in a supermarket? Does Australian Government have no male employees?
Amen
What I was playing in my head when I started reading:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XQiIpXz4G5EAfterward though... I think you're right, about how you shouldn't lower your standards. At least, that low. I do think it's fine to go with someone who's not as rich or beautiful as you, but if you know there's a giant gap in not only wealth but motivation and all that, it wouldn't be wise. ...
For the most part though... I think people should just date as soon as they get their stuff together, like you said you have. But don't date people that don't have it together. Either they don't know how to or don't ever want to.
And to the girl who downvoted me: Thank you, for not reading the whole thing.
People that work at supermarkets aren't always poor. He could have been a line manager or something. To be honest you come across as arrogant and bitter in this take. Most top 1 percent men would touch you with a barge pole with an attitude and tone like that. Your objectifying men by saying theyre just worthless dicks for you to suck. But hey, at least you have your high standards.
Pretty ironic that it's you that's coming across as bitter :D :D :D
probably bitter that her 'amazing' self can only end up with a guy like 'that' lmao
Honestly, its you have the high stand problem, show off. How you live, the education, the cars, the problem is you. Because, you pick up some guys that you like to put them down. That's not the right thing to guy's ego. And, I would like if was in other feet. Someday, will happen.
This doesn't really have anything to do with having high standards really. I was thinking it was going to be like something about having a super man or something. No it is just about hey you are a decent human being so you know what you diserve to be with a decent human. The only complaint I have with this is I don't care who they are or what they did to you. You should never break up with someone through a text it is just rude.
I too have a car, my own place, two degrees and a job. Although my loan debt from school is... ugh. That being said I applied for a new position at my current employer, pretty much has better pay.
So yeah, I have my shot together. I'm just incredibly awkward with women
Great take! I agree, no one lower your standards, instead raise your own appeal and status! 😁
Not triggered at all.
It sounds like you know better. It sounds like you went and got some alpha male dick, even though you knew it wasn't gonna make you happy, and then you're blaming the monolithic "man" for the particular individual being exactly what you wanted to have sex with.
I say to you go after what you want. That's what I do. Who's arguing with you?
Hahahaha who told you to date a guy working at a subway or a guy who makes you pay for his shit?
You were the one who was desperate...
You are just mad at your own decisions and you should learn more from your own take them anyone else! LOL :-D
Let me guess you are gonna call me a fuck boy now... HAHHA
What i think
You were a bit sassy with your views lol but it all holds true! Nothing is more attractive than a man who has plans to better himself and his life and actively works towards reaching them.
This is why you are single and only have boy toys as previously stated in your take.
BAHAHAAHAH
LMFAO I love this!
Girl, why are you attacking me for? Don't you deserve the best guy you can muster?
Look, you deserve so much better than what you received. However, you sound extremely bitter and judgmental based on the poor quality guys you have had. Your anger and resentment makes me feel sorry for any future relationship you have.
You sound extremely bitter :(. No wonder you attract those guys.
I am not above admitting that I am angry and bitter, I am those things because I have worked hard at bettering myself and making sure I am set. But I seem to always get the short end of the stick when it comes to love when other chick's get the best guys.
It's your character.
Salty ass males. You did this take just to try and wind men up. Must've took a while. Shows your a dedicated man disliker
Not at all. I knew that they will attack me without truly understanding what I wrote.
You sound like one bitter bitch. No offense. You'd be a nightmare girlfriend. judgmental, shallow, arrogant ans materialistic. This is just a dig at an ex disguised as a take and aimed at every man in general.
as i guy i completely agree with you, truthfully i think these as requirements to start dating, if you can't do any of these things than dont date someone and maybe ruin
1) time they can be spending doing something more productive towards their goal.
2) you may have just ruined their chance of meeting "the one" for a lack of a better term.
