I don't think I can marry a person of the same race or ethnic background, because I'm already an ethnic minority in this country. So, I'd be more than happy if someone of a different ethnic background would at least be willing to marry me.

What do I come under? I am White but I am not really interested in my own race of women unless they are the same nationality as me or come from the same cultural back ground. I find Eastern European women to be incompatible with me culturally.
I like all races of women and would date all races of women including white, though they are not my #1 preference.

Isn't there a fourth type also: the person who isn't attracted to and will not date their *own* race? We may be rarer than the other types but we exist, and life is hard for us since a person tends to attract their own race more than others.
Yes, you are right this type of person does exist. However since that wasn't the sole basis of my argument it wasn't really necessary to have mentioned it. However , how do you feel about someone who isn't attracted to their own race? Some people view it as self hatred. What do you think?
If not being attracted to your own race is self-hatred, then that would mean not being attracted to some other race is hatred of that race too. You don't really choose what gender, race, personality type, body type, age, etc, you are attracted to. You have your preference, that's all. Real race hatred is believing one race to be inferior and those people worth less than others. Just cause I find some race really unattractive personally doesn't mean I'd ever deny them service, make them sit at the back of the bus, pay them less or disregard their basic humanity.
I have a preference for women and in fact am not willing to date other men, does that make me intolerant to homosexuals? Are my homosexual friends just part of my "cover up".
Race and gender are two different stories. Lets not stray from the topic. I see you are going off course by attempting to make a mockery of my logic , but realistically you are only displaying your level of ignorance. If someone is blatantly making derogatory comments , they can say they love all but it's clear to see their actions. I am ok with people having preferences p
It has a lot to do with dating. I date almost exclusively online, because of my profession. I believe that people tend to be more honest, when you are not sitting across the table. I can ask questions that I may not be comfortable asking in person or questions that I believe someone wouldn't be comfortable answering. Funny how you can have so much in common with someone and then they drop a bomb and say they don't date outside their race. In the area when I live, there is a very small black community (~.5%), so dating outside ones race is a must.
@ThePostMan But I still fail to see the problem. Relationships for many people are a big thing and most people want their partner to look or be a certain way. If some quality of mine isn't to someone else's liking, they are justified to decline a date with me. Even if that is my height, weight, age, looks, personality etc. If you are a black man, in a community with very few black people, I can see how you'd be disappointed if you like someone but they are unwilling to date you because of your colour. If they don't want to date because they are not attracted to black men, then they aren't racist. If they don't want to date because they think that black people are inferior, then they are racist. But in both of these, they would not want to date you. So why not move on and find someone who IS willing to date you?
@ThePostMan Are you saying that it's wrong to have a bias in relationships? If you are saying that someone deciding not to date someone because of their race is racism, then I don't agree. For the following reasons: 1. People are not some kind of merchandise or a service that needs to be available to all. 2. People don't choose what physical qualities they are attracted to. 3. People should freely be able to choose who to date.
I understand you were using an analogy. I understand what you are getting at. However, the analogy in place shares no comparison to race.
What does racism have to do with dating? Racism affects all aspects of life work, the hiring process, dating, how one is treated etc. The LIst could go on endlessly
The reason I'm confused about this is because if someone is denied a job because of their race, that is racism. The person being denied is being robbed of his chances of a job, and the employer should be punished for discrimination.
In dating, say if I get denied a date because the girl is a racist and doesn't date people of my skin colour. I would move on, because I DON'T want to date a racist person. That's why I don't see a problem. I see a problem with racism, of course! But I would rather be denied the first date, than spend a few years in a relationship with a person only to find out they think I am inferior because of my race.
I feel the same way. I would not waste time on someone who was racist against me. My soul purpose in this article isn't to fix the problem (because that is impossible , racism will always exist). It's to make people aware that there are two different forms of racism. Overt and covert. Covert is often overlooked because it's buried. I'm tired of seeing people fooled by the "I have a preference line" when clearly that's a cover up in half of the people that say it. I'm just trying to expose the truth of the matter not change what will always exist.
Thank you for explaining. My misunderstanding might be because we come from places with very different dating cultures. I've never heard of anyone denying someone a date because of their race, because where I'm from we don't date the same way you do (I'm assuming you're from North America). I was also trying to find your 'point' in the article. the solution to the problem if you will. Because I simply did not understand what racism had to do with dating.
I'm attracted to whites and Asians, very select amount of latinas. There's nothing you can do to make me attracted to blacks, and that's ok. I'm just not attracted to them, it doesn't mean I think badly of them. People can be attracted to who they want, why do you care?
I think the problem here is that you need to read. I clearly stated the fact that it's okay to have a preference. I did not condemn people for having one because they have a right to it. My sole discussion in this article are those who make negative comments and attach ugly stigmas to opposite races , and try to cover up the fact they are racist by saying "I have a preference". Unless you are the person I am discussing in this article someone who harbors hate and resentment I can see why you are offended.
Wasn't even talking about you bro, just the entire shit about condemning white men for preferring Asians, when Asians overwhelmingly prefer white men more than white men prefer Asians.
It's actually true, look it up, statistically Asian women have white fever 5-1 to the white men who have Asian fever in relative distribution, yet people give (mainly white guys) shit about it.
I respect your opinion, was only talking about society's as a whole.
So what you are saying is all things being equal, you still wouldn't date someone because of the color of their skin. That makes you a bigot. Asian women prefer white men? Really? Were is this magic stat you refer to, because I grew up with asian's and I don't recall seeing this.
@ThePostMan 1.bp.blogspot.com/.../gt.png I don't hate Asian guys or anything, but you have to admit that when girls prefer shit we don't care, a white guy prefers something and everyone goes crazy.
I just prefer dating Latinas for a long list of reasons, both physically and personality wise that fit "my type" better. I mean, they are just too gorgeous as well.
Why is it that almost every guy that commented on this made it about not dating black girls specifically... Lol I agree with this!

I tend to date my own kind. I find it better and feel more compelled and comfortable dating my own women like most people do. I think its natural to date within your own race.
Informative articles don't entertain you much. Perhaps I should talk about about the Kardashians or twerking since that seems to be within your intelligence factor.
Is it racist if I'll date any race except a particular one? Like, as an example, if i said I'd date any girl who was white, black, Asian, middle eastern, but not Hispanic, would that be racist or just having a preference?
It's possible to be racist against a race. However, I don't know you well enough to draw that conclusion. Why do you not want to even consider dating a Hispanic woman?
I would ask why are hispanics excluded? What particular attribute don't you like? If it is simply because they are hispanic, then it makes you a bigot.
It's not Hispanics I was just using them as an example. But sticking with that example, lets say I have many Hispanic friends, good friends, male and female. I've just never seen a Hispanic girl I was attracted to. Would that be racist? Not to say they're ugly but I've never seen or met a Hispanic girl that made me say to myself "man she's hot I wanna date her"
No, it doesn't. Racism means to feel you are superior to another race. If you don't feel that then you are simply not a racist. People that hate other races are also influenced by their environment to believe the negative stigmas and stereotypes associated with those particular races. They also believe their phenotype is much more attractive or better.
If the person is drawn to other races for the sole fact that they find them more attractive , they are not racist because they do not harbor any hate or feelings of superiority.
I listed examples. I didn't want to post four to five pics for each race. One photo is good enough to show examples of racism that are out there. I don't need to over power this take by showing large amounts of photos , when we all are aware of exists.

What I am speaking about are those who make hateful comments and cover it up (because that action is more acceptable).
I'm sorry, I'm not trying to mock your way of thinking, i merely wanted to see if you could apply the logic to other things.
There are people who are racist, I'm just having trouble understanding what that has to do with dating really.
It has a lot to do with dating. I date almost exclusively online, because of my profession. I believe that people tend to be more honest, when you are not sitting across the table. If the deciding factor is race, even the court has rules its bias. Can't get any simpler that than.

person c is mostly pressured by family members not to date a certain race, they have no say in it I have mostly observed this in girls tbh.
Guys there are so many beautiful women out there! Why only limit yourself to one race? I dont understand it. Great take btw!
I just prefer dating Latinas for a long list of reasons, both physically and personality wise that fit "my type" better. I mean, they are just too gorgeous as well.
And here I thought we had something. I guess I was https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uoEKX0CniNY >_<
What category would people who have a preference to another race because of the physical be?
would this person only have sex with this race? Or would they consider an actual relationship with them?
A relationship

What's a Kardashian and what is a twerking?
My point exactly !
Your brain is literally mash potato.
No, that would be your Mother "the town whore".

not to take away from some stellar points i agree with, but opinionated =/= informative.
@ophran I do not understand your response to me.

I date within my race and though I'm not raciest I don't care who thinks I am that's their problem.
So out of groups B & C who will not date others of other races do you think more people are in group C or in group B?
Good question.
From experience, I'd have to say more people are in group C just some remain in-denial about their feelings.
I do and i think we all have. Its not discrimination, just preferences!
I did a take on this recently and the unconsciously racist. You will be harassed for posting this.
I'm white and I don't find black girls attractive at all. The closest I'm attracted is hispanic.
I'm kind of like person A but not with all races. Only with select few.
How come you only posted a racist photo with a black person? Where are the other race examples of photos that you listed?
I listed examples.
I didn't want to post four to five pics for each race. One photo is good enough to show examples of racism that are out there.
