Why should men be the providers in a relationship? Women today are more educated than men and young women outearn young men. Isn't it time for women to step up to the plate and provide for men?

Women often earn less than a man for the exact same job and most well paid jobs are taken by men not women. IF a woman earns more than a man it is unusual, but that is all the more reason for her to avoid that man, she is better off single or waiting for a better man. Why would she want a man who is lazy or stupid or badly educated or not ambitious and driven where she takes care of him? She would be the one he is gold digging and she would be bored to tears with a guy who is not work orientated like her. Only a person who is unsuccessful and has no money would say it does not matter.

First of all, the equal pay act of 1963 literally makes it illegal to discriminate against anyone based on their race or gender.

The wage gap is measured by the average income of men and women working full-time. It does not account for the fact that men work more hours on average than women, make different career choices, are more likely to relocate for a job, more likely to do a job with hazardous pay, more likely to ask for a raise, less likely to take time off work, and the list goes on and on.

Women usually do much better than men straight out of college. In fact, a study was done in 2015, which showed that STEM careers showed a preference for hiring women 2:1 over equally qualified men. They know it's in their best image as a company to hire women because they come off as more progressive. Single young women also out-earn their male counterparts. It's when women decide they need to have children that they start taking a lot of time off work, and relying on a man for support and a supplemental income.

Which is why I don't understand why women are so hell-bent on making more money than men. Men give you the money they make already. Women earn about 41% of all household income and spend approximately 75% of it. Women today also control the majority of the wealth in the United States because men leave it to them in passing.

I'm not trying to rude, I'm just tired of the feminist lies and propaganda. It is in the best interests of women that men are also successful since men tend to support women financially. It's like feminist want men to hate women, which is why they constantly complain about the wage gap, call western men sexist, and then invite men who come from much more sexist cultures with open arms.

What the hell are men suppose to do? If we don't get married we are man-children who never grow up, and if we do get married we have to take up male gender roles to support our wives and children, and at any moment our wife can decide to divorce us and take half of everything we have. We would be forced to pay child support, alimony, and never get to see our children ever again. It's not fair and I don't expect you to understand that men have problems too.

What's the point though of adhering to a gender role when women refuse to do the same?
