I do long for a girl of my own but for right now I am going to take some time to dream of what could have been fun to do with her today. It is dream I hopefully will see come true in the next year or two.. fingers crossed. But here are some fun ways to spend as a couple during valentines. Based a google search :)
1. Do a groupon activity like an escape room
It's simple yet fun. You spend time laughing and just enjoying having simple fun with each other.
2. Going for a simple walk somewhere special
It does not need to be a big thing but as simple as finding a simple yet quiet place to hold hands and talk about simple things with each other.
3. Go out to eat somewhere you have never been to before
Take the time to find some place maybe even an hour out of your area to find some place new to experience. The new surroundings and place add just an extra dose of uniqueness for a fun time to spend with each other.
4. Rent a hotel room for the night
It seems like over spending money but find something around 100 dollars a night and just a find a fun place to go. You can spend a lot or spend little. But the point is to have it feel special with just the both you even it if just means a simple tv movie and cuddling. But a shower together with some bubbly can be a fun way to spend the evening.
5. Find someplace to dance
It does not have a be a place where you spend money but maybe a bar with a dance floor. Just go out there and have fun with each other.
6. Find a random place away from home to relax and talk
This seems a little too simple but it can be a great time if you pick somewhere special. It can be to people watch too but just someplace to feel time pass and enjoy simply being with each other.
7. Go out to a band to hear some music
Given for most it is not warm at the moment but on the weekend finding a bar with band would probably not be that hard to find.
8. Go out and see a movie
This is a pretty simple one but it's one you can always fall back on and you can fit them in for a matinee or a late show so they work for anytime
9. A candle lit dinner at home
Just very sweet and simple yet romantic. It can be take out, a nice cooked meal or even French toast maybe even sweeter if you cooked it together :)
10. Go bowling
It's another simple activity like going to see a movie but it can be something that allows you to have fun with each other and you can take it slow if you want if its just the two of you
11. Play Video Games
It is a simple yet sweet activity. Go to the video store or redbox, or even to gamestop and get a new game for your both to have fun with and try. It's not for every couple but even for those that don't do it that often it can be fun to just see if there is something you can at least get a chuckle out of trying
12. Try to find a board game place to play board games
Given you can have fun getting a new game to take home and play but it can be much more fun to play with others as a group or maybe organize a couples game night at your place.
13. Go window shopping with each other
If you are in a mall you get a chance to talk, find fun things to buy for each other and maybe find some fun activities to do on top of it.
14. Intimate evening at home
A simple romantic bath or a cuddle up for Netflix, while simple, can sometimes be the relaxed go to that a couple is looking for
