Actually, statistically a higher percentage of Christians are convicted of crimes and receive jail time than atheists... And I phrase it that way because the counter is usually "well there are more Christians than atheists" but I mean that proportionally, per 1000 Christians and per 1000 atheists you'll see more Christians having been convicted of crimes.

Therefore church/ religion does not make you a less sinful person if you use the general consensus (the law) to define what is bad/ sinful.

The reality is the only requisite to Christianity is self identification as there is no standardized marking of the person or really standardized system of requisites or expectations. As a religion it's undecided if it is even a works based or faith based system of salvation, meaning the only requirement to be "in the club" is self identification.

For some they use the to true Scotsman fallacy so they don't have to take ownership of the horrific things done by their peers because they don't want to have to go through the hard work of actually curating their community, vetting those entering, and excommunicating those who violate the community standards. Others, however, see this as a feature, not a bug, as they want the horrific things done in the name of Christianity to happen, while being able to maintain deniability, cutting the agents of their will loose when the criticism gets too hot, honestly making them no better than Pilate.

So if you are going to be to that argument, you have to ask yourself which one of the above you are? Lazy or dishonest?

@slatyb I think you misread my comment, it had nothing to do with happiness, prosperity, or kindness. It was simply on rates of incarceration. That being said, I know a lot of both atheists and agnostics, and I agree. Most of them are happier, as they do not suffer from being in a toxic personal relationship with a deity that is constantly telling them they will never be good enough, they are more prosperous as they are not expected to turn over 10% of their income and 1/7th of their time, allowing them to reinvest this, and kinder as they don't think a book that says it's okay to unleash a bear to eat children for making fun of a guy for being bald is a guide for morality... Question- Have you ever had a client that, after being coached and put in real effort to improve his/herself, and put themselves out there, still had no luck with dating?

What do you do in those instances where someone is genuinely trying to find a person, doing everything the dating coach says, yet still can't find anyone interested?

This will depend on your definition of dating success? Many go on wonderful dates. Many go on both wonderful and bad dates. Along the way the coach is their to answer questions and help them through. After your time spent with the coach hopefully you will have gained some much needed knowledge, accountability and confidence to continue on your own seeking a great match. Like I said in the TAKE, their really is no guarantee of success. Much like a fitness coach they can help you with your diet, workout etc but it's up to you to lose those few extra pounds with or without them.

Some dating coaches can definitely be worthwhile because, not only do they share knowledge they have that you may not posses, but they also help you see things and behaviors in yourself that you may not see when you look in the mirror.

Other "dating coaches" perpetuate some very toxic ideas and mindsets toward relationships and the opposite sex, which is obviously counterproductive. Our resident female dating coach here on GAG is a great example of that. She has so much baggage from her past experiences and trauma that she isn't objective in her approach, and can't help letting her insecurities and toxic views toward men and relationships shine through all the time. That's the last thing a woman looking for a good man needs.

Maybe personality mattered 20-40 years ago, but in the day and age that we are living in right now, materialism matters The most and exterior looks are what actually matters. I'm saying those things not out of thing air, but because I went through a dating meet grinder and I have experienced and witnessed first hand what most women really want in 2022 and beyond. Both my mom who is in her 50's and my grand mother who is in her 80's told me that modern women have dramatically changed and for much Much worse, not only they are hurting men, but they are also hurting themselves in the process.

Well this post is about hiring a dating coach. I've been one for over 20 years and I too know what women want at least the mature ones in their 30's and beyond. Personality never mattered 20-40 years ago.. not sure where you thought it did or evidence of that... a guy who could provide and put a roof over their head mattered the most because women didn't work or rise in the work place as they do now. Modern women are who they are and we need to navigate that... not say it's for the worse. It can be done with a good coach.

You speaking from a man's perspective and I'm sure you know a lot more when it comes to dating women and how to successfully get them, but I cannot disregard factual evidence that my mom and my grandma has presented to me over the years. You have been doing your work for 20 years, but my family members have been around for 60+ years and they witnessed the changes in women behavior and if they are saying they became bad, I have to trust their judgement, because 1. both of them are females and they know female nature better than men ever will and 2. they have been around for a long period of time, so they had a luxury to see how men, women, husbands and wives were in 1950's and how are they now.

I am speaking from working with thousands of clients over 20 years. You are speaking anecdotally of a few family members. Women's behavior has changed drastically from the 1950's... doesn't mean it's bad it's just different. These changes aren't going anywhere so you can complain about them or admit they exist and are here to stay. Many women who I work with are CEO's, VP's and understand that their femininity is broken. They work long hours and compete with masculine men all day long in the work place. I teach them how to drop into their femininity when they get home to their man because no man wants to bump heads with a masculine woman. Not sure what your point is but men who understand this will do just fine if they except that it's not 1950 anymore and women don't need a man for financial support.

I think this conversation slowly turning into a two sided coin here. Yes, women have changed and yes they are not going anywhere, but adapting to this new environment is wrong, because it leave no future to be desired to have. Yes, they do become CEO's, doctors, lawyers and businesswomen etc... but it comes at a high price where normal regular and old fashioned men ( Real men), don't want to date or be married to a 30+ year old woman who makes more money than them, not only that, but it also compromises entire family structure, where kids are being raised by The State instead of mothers. Not all answers or opinions should be the same, because if they are, it would be a scary world to live in.
