Not talking about vast amounts but little things ie buying you lunch, taking you to a concert and buying you a cd as you enjoyed the music etc. And no I don't think he's trying to get laid!

it's a maybe, i usually pay for small things for my friends and that include both guys and girls. so he likes you, but as a friend or someone special. it depends on his personality, ask his friends if he pays for them when they are alone, if no, then there is a chance.
