What does it mean if a guy spends more money on a girl than any other?

She said no other guy has spent more money on her than I did. I don't understand... I thought spending money and buying her things was showing her that you care about her and that money is no object. Was she saying that her past guys have neglected her in some way?

I think she’s trying to boast you up and acknowledge what you’ve done to her, she could be being truthful and is trying to show appreciation or spitting game to make you feel good and keep doing it. If you really like this girl show her more affection besides gifts but truthfully as a girl I love to be spoiled so I’m sure she enjoys it just be careful if you’ve known her long enough maybe try to take a break from buying her stuff and see if she still has interest and if she pulls away than she probably just wants your wallet🙃
