Regardless, don't ever think you can change someone into liking you. I've been there. It isn't impossible for him to catch feelings for you. But if he doesn't now and he's saying he won't, just take him for his word and be pleasantly surprised later if he doesn't end up liking you. But don't sit and wait. PEOPLE DON'T CHANGE TO BE TOGETHER. Everyone changes, but it's not for another person. And if it is, it never lasts. Because that's not substainable.
