Lately I've been told a lot that I look really young, and that due to (specifically) my weight that I'm not "dateable". I'm overweight due to medical issues, and I know I don't exactly look my age. I can take anything anyone on here says so please be honest- How old do you think I look? Guys, based on looks, would you date me? Girls, what do you suggest to work on being more attractive? What would you suggest for a more flattering clothing style, makeup (I hardly wear any) or hairstyle? (I know I have the same hairstyle in every picture, but I do wear it other ways. I just can't find any good pictures for examples of it.)

Everyone's datable, you just have to have confidence first and foremost, while still maintaining a relatively realistic dating standard. People usually date around their own leagues, but hey, don't let stupid rules restrain your self expression.
As for looks, you could try the following: 1. Fill in your eyebrows. You know the current Instagram looks. Given your smaller facial bone structure, your eyebrows should take more of your natural brow shape. 2. Eyemakeup = 👍🏼 3. You know, everybody here seems to raving on about fixing your teeth. Though, you should also realize everybody here shouldn't be taken as a representation of the larger public population. A few crooked teeth are actually seen as a mark of beauty/cuteness in Japan. If you not totally restrictive about races, maybe someone from a different background will just love them instead. 4. Definitely clothing needs upgrade. Don't wear stone necklaces, I have only seen older women wear those. Perhaps you could try Swarovski or such brands? 5. Given your body shape, long hair may not be the best choice because it elongates the length of your upper torso. You want to choose clothes that will elongate your legs, say, high-waisted jeans for example.

You're a cute girl. You look about 15-17ish. Honestly your outfits make you seem older than what you are. I would get something more "your age." Maybe change your hair style, that also makes you seem older. You don't need make up but if you want to try some. Keep it simple and natural. Mascara and a light to medium color lipgloss. As for the weight... not sure what condition you have but try walking 3-4 times a week, then add a jog 2 of those days after a while. Also add a bit of weight training or HIIT training. Change up your eating habits and you'll be good to go in a few months.

Thanks for the tips and encouragement... Definitely helpful. I'm not very good with makeup so it's always nice to get suggestions.
I wish it were that simple... Because of the medical problems I can't do that much walking, but I do try to go on several one or two mile walks a week, and when I'm not able to, I swim. Then twice a week I actually go to the gym and work with weights. One of the ladies there has been helping me learn what I can physically do and not do. I'm finally to the point when can maintain my weight by doing that, but I've been struggling to lose it.
That's what I want saying... you don't really need make up. Mascara is very easy to apply and lipgloss... that's a no-brainer. You can do more if you want like eyeshadows but I'd keep the natural colors. It's very simple to apply.
Ahh I see. How about water aerobics? Is that something you're able to try? For the diet part since you already eat healthy... have you tried carb-cycling?
Whenever I wear makeup those are actually my go to things. I guess I should wear them more.
When I swim I just swim. I'm a very strong swimmer and usually do it several times a week. I usually just do laps though. I'll have to google some water aerobic ideas. Never heard of carb cycling...
You dont look bad in my opinion, actually very pretty. You look about 15-16. And for weight, dont use medical conditions as a crutch. I have a condition aswell but its possible to loose weight (it always is unless you have a certain super rare condition) you just have to do it right. im not saying loose weight to be pretty, but to be healthier, from one overweight girl to another. If someone calls you undateable, their a dick. you're really pretty, and your self confidence (from what i can see in the photos) is attractive aswell.

Thank you for the encouragement. Trust me when I say though that I'm one of people who can say that medical issues and meds take 95% of the blame.
That's completely understandable, and in that case you shouldn't feel bad at all. You dont control it. Dont let it have control over how you think about yourself :) there's always going to be someone out there, trust me!
Girl you look cute af , I want to bite your cheeks you are cute adorable and pretty. I can tell you are young , I know it's bad being overweight but in your case you are young so you are in a good/right time to start exercising. I want to mention I'm not telling you to exercise so you can look more beautiful nope that's not the issue I want you to lose weight for your health, for your own good and so you can feel better in your own skin. Thank you so much. That's really sweet. The whole exercise thing though- I actually do quite a lot. It's really truly medical stuff that's my primary problem.
What kind of medical issues if it's OK to ask? Other than the teeth which you said you work on i see nothing wrong. Of course the weight is for me personally a problem but not all people are like me. There are lots of guys that like your type of girl, and yes also attractive guys. It's all about personal preference but I would say that an attractive guy that may like your type is a bit harder to find. Don't sweat it there is someone for everyone trust me. But if you really want to increase your chances seek medical help for the weight problem. Not only for looking good but also to feel better in your own skin and be healthy. Now as I said I do not know what type of medical problem you have but I hope it is curable. Good luck.

I don't mind you asking at all, but I'd prefer not to share it if it makes any sense. It's not exactly curable, but it's managable with meds (part of the weight problem isis some of the meds), and at this point it's not exactly life threatening (potentially could be later though). Thanks for the encouragement. The people where I live tend to be jerks even if I haven't said a word to them so
whiter teeth a different hairstyle a different fashion trend possibly try make up if you can a better posture
I've only enlisted this so you can appear more dateable, okay? I'm sorry for having Life feel this way. But there is still hope because you can really achieve anything you put your mind into!
As long as you are comfortable in your own skin, it does not matter what other people think or say. If you wear and do what makes you feel comfortable, then you will attract people who like you for you. As far as weight goes, it really doesn't matter how much you weigh as long as you are doing your best to stay healthy. And keep those freckles!
Honestly I agree 100% with this and anyone who says otherwise is just mean. Everyone is Beautiful just the way they are including you! Don't let anyone tell you otherwise and the hairstyle with the picture by plants and or house looks good on you!!
can be worked on. you need to start loosing weight. you can if you want to, just put it in your mind and put it as a goal. I also suggest braces and detartrage for your teeth. cut your hair for now and take care of it cause it s not quite dense. put oils on it and all. then change your hair cut let it loose and cut it uneven and don t have bangs from one side

I've been trying to lose weight very earnestly with no success for years... I eat fairly healthy and exercise quite a bit... it's truly the medical stuff.
I actually have braces now (better late then never, right? :P) but I'm not sure what detartage is? Is that whitening?
Yeah I've lost over half my hair and I'm working on growing it out, which is why it's dry. I'm experementing with the oils and shampoos/conditioners to work on strengthening it. The bangs are a result of a hair cut gone bad- they're gone as soon as they grow long enough to do something with. I'll definitely consider the haircut. Thanks!!
I'm my honest opinion you shouldn't try to improve yourself for a man. Nobody's perfect, so why should you try to be perfect. All that I suggest is be more outgoing and confident. Lastly get your teeth whitened and get braces so they can be straight. Good luck!
You look 12-13 but that's a good thing cause when you do get old you won't look old. I would suggest maybe cutting and dying your hair. You're actually very pretty.

I'm going to guess that you're 17. My answer is highly influenced by your age range here on gag. Also since people say you look younger than what you really are.

I am not gonna sugar coat you. You are way below average and your teeth makes it worse. You need to lose weight and your teeth need some dental work. Hire a good hairstylist and buy better clothes and not from Walmart.

Thanks for the honesty. The weight is kinda out of my control (I work out and stuff almost every day, plus I eat mainly healthy foods... the whole medical problems thing), the teeth are a work in progress (I FINALLY have braces... Better late then never, right? :P) and the hair... that's something else I'm working on... I had been having trouble growing it out and it's still not that strong. Bad haircuts (hence the bangs) don't help matters. As for the clothes... eww. You couldn't pay me to wear 95% of anything that comes from Walmart.
To be honest, you're not dateable. The biggest issue here is your weight and teeth. Sorry if you get offended by it, just telling it how it is.

That's one of the reasons... I've been on like 5 medicines that cause weight gain but over the last year or two I've gotten off enough of them so that I can maintain the weight with lots of salads and working out but I haven't been able to lose it. I have other medical issues that caused it too but I'd rather not give any more details.
