Should I invite my crush to my birthday party? yes or no?

I have liked my crush for a long time now, and we have been talking for almost as long... but i have only meet him once (he lives 3,5 hour away, and he drove all the way just to meet me ^^)... my birthday is comming up and i was wondering if i should invite him?

Yes. That's a great way to get closer to him without having to ask him out directly. I've had a lot of girls invited me to birthday/graduation parties, and every time it was so they could get closer to me. I knew that going in and only accepted if I was into them.

if he's only a crush, he shouldn't be brought to a party where all your friends and id imagine parents are at.. for a couple of reasons
