He invited me to a road trip and wants to stay overnight?

We've been hanging out for 3 months.
This week he asked if we can go on a trip to the city I grew up in.

I said sure but because everyone knows me back home, be prepared for lots of nosy people.

He replied with why don't we just go and maybe we can stay overnight as he's never been or drive me.

He knows my parents live there so today he asked if they'll be around or is it just the two of us.

My home city is only an hour and a half drive so not far. Why would he ask to stay overnight? Is he expecting to have sex? (We've kissed a couple of times and held hands) Did he expect to meet my parents because we haven't introduced each other to our friends yet.

My expectations are to go have fun and show him the city but appreciate a guys view

Whether he expects sex or not. If you agree to it then be prepared for a move to be made. A little strange to stay over at your parents maybe if you do stay overnight book a hotel.

Just do what you feel is right if he wants sex and you don't just tell him your not ready for that yet
