I dislike over confident guys. The type who are cocky and arrogant.

If a guy is too shy and timid then I'd find it difficult to get to know him. So he'd need to be open about himself, his life and feelings or it would be a deal-breaker. Being Too shy or too cocky is a turn off

The issue with guy's that aren't confident is they are very negative about themselves. They don't believe you when you tell them they are great. And then you gotta deal with them taking out their insecurities on you. You can tell them to make sure their little girl isn't in our room by herself so she doesn't get into my jewelry and he'll get defensive because in his insecure mind you just told him he's a bad dad that doesn't keep an eye on his child.

This is hard to judge. See I like both. In the past my crushes we're all somewhat shy or in the middle. But even when they mightve liked me too it was hard to be sure, as a shy girl, it was hell trying to ask them out myself (because im so unsure about their feelings). because the definition of timid is lack of confidence... what do people with no confidence have in common? they don't believe in themselves. if you love yourself, you know you're capable of achieving great things and you know your value. You don't need people's opinions, which is exactly what your'e doing right now... asking people what they prefer, but who cares? if you did love yourself, you'd know the value you bring to the table, if people like it, cool and if they don't, cool.

I think most of us have been in a position where we feel less, at least I have. You just have to take action and do something about it. Set goals for yourself, long and short term on whatever aspect of your life you want and work hard on them. Fighting for something and getting out of your comfort zone is really good for you. Get out, meet new people, try new things... just do something.
