Why are WMAF relationships so looked down upon?

I have never understood why with all the progression we have made with interracial relationships, why in recent years WMAF, White Male Asian Female, relationships are looked down upon.

From what I have seen most of the arguments made sound like ones used against Black Men and White Women by alt righters. Purely curious as all.

Also wanted to note I'm a mixed guy, dad's White and mums Asian so didn't get the outrage.

I'm in that type of relationship (I'm Asian he's white ) and I find that many of the people who look down on it are Asian guys who think that they own Asian women.
Also the Hapa subreddit is just a joke and doesn't represent the majority of hapa people.

I have seen a my fare share if white girls have a go at Asian women fir it but in the same context white guys rib eachother for it, the context being a he can't get any better.

I think no matter what people are going to attack/shame people for their choices, so its best not to care.

There isn't much stigma anymore. The only one I've seen and faced was that white guys can't get anything better. To me it's stupid.

I guess it's somthing I have only noticed recently then. Mainly because a friend directed me to the hapa sub reddit so thats what sparked my curiosity

I'm mainly saying because a friend of mine, she's über left wing said it must be hard your dad not understanding your racial issues and directed me to the r/Hapa sub reddit and didn't understand their issues
