How long is too long to wait to message someone on tinder?

On top of that. Lets say you match with someone in the same class / study group as you or a coworker, and you're afraid to make it awkward, so decide to just leave it as a match. But you wait till you're no longer working with them or the semester is over and then reach out. Would something like that still make a late message weird/creepy/desperate?

in my opinion you may as well just message them right away. Once the match has been made, they know you're on tinder and they know you are. You know they like you and vice versa. Frankly I think it would be more awkward to face them everyday after the match WITHOUT having made contact. I'd say just make a move.

You should message them as soon as you match. These days if you wait too long you could be out of luck. If you match with someone in the same study group or class.. than YOU WIN. HELLO.. that is the best case scenario.. now you have something in common.
