Why hasn't he unfollowed me?

So I went on a date with this guy I met on a dating app. Shortly after he started to ghost me and then randomly texted me again a couple weeks later saying he had been busy and all that. He stopped texting me completely again, but I noticed that he still follows me on Instagram and sees my stories but has been deleting a bunch of other people on his Instagram. If he is trying to ghost me, why wouldn't he just fully delete me as well? Am I just over thinking this?

Honestly, I'll go straight to the point with him and ask directly. You should not waste your time on someone who can reach you whenever he wants. At this point, I'd not care about him anymore. Someone who does not give a simple f**k about me and if he does not even try to know about me, he can go bush around to some other girl cause I ain't waste time with kids. You're still young, go and have fun. You'll find someone to share your experiences with.

I think you can leave the door open if you like, but you should pretty much let him go. Sure, he may well be busy. But as a general rule, if people are interested, unless there is something very particular going on in their lives; they will make an effort to keep in contact and get in touch in a timely manner. Gotta find someone who likes you as much as you like them.
