Hi, I'm not a guy who uses tinder. But I still think I can give you some insight. First, I think you've actually got one part a little backwards. I think the guys who approach you like that ARE afraid to be themselves. It's not that that's the "real them" (I hope)... it's that they think THAT'S the way to talk to women. I hope that they're actually not that dumb... in real life.

I think "getting the easy ones" is a huge part of it. Now I know some people meet their future spouse on tinder. But really, tinder is a 'hook--up' site. Because of that... you're GONNA get more "hey baby" from guys on there than on an actual dating site. So it depends on what you're looking for. If you're lookiing for something more serious maybe try a different site. If you're not... just chalk the dumb guys up to "dumb guys" and don't try to understand them... they're just idiots.

Try bumble, tinder is for being blunt, getting immediate results, and putting forward little effort. Think horseshoes and hand-grenades. It isn't precision, but a number's game, keep throwing yourself out there, eventually you hit close enough to the mark, get laid, wash, rinse, repeat.

i always start a conversation with a "hello" and i dont use pickup lines to talk to women, i use compliments and conversations, its works better than being a creep asking for nudes or complimenting their body parts, thats only good after the girl is comfortable speaking to you and you already have a thing going.

I haven't used tinder, but I've noticed that the online forum tends to allow for an illusion of a more direct approach, right or wrong. in the sites I am on I try being nice and 9 times out of 10 I don't get a second response unless its a bot or scammer. Being the "ruthless/forward" gets some results where nice hasn't gotten any except the a fore mentioned bot or scammer.

This is why I don’t use date info apps. Well mostly because of all fakes on there and secondly much like this site it’s hard to communicate properly to a person with out being face to face. You have no emotions. I agree the stupid lines like hey babe and sexy what’s up. Are pretty lame. In person. You can see a facial expression and body gestures. You get a vibe that you can’t get form online communication. Lose the date if apps and go and meet people for real.
