Why would someone wants to continue chatting and be friends if you dont click?
And he said it verbally and on text (2 times) but I doubt that he wants to be friends.

Just becuase he doesn't see himself settling down with you doesn't mean he wouldn't want to try being friends. Sometimes people just dont match up intimanly but could be life long friends
