Every guy I dated so far has been more introverted compared to me (but my friends are just as extroverted as me if not more). Not that they were all necessarily very introverted themselves, I am just that outgoing. But I never actually adopted any guy to be my boyfriend. I do have extroverted guy friends but I honestly never felt the chemistry with a guy as outgoing as me.

I have always been the more extroverted one in relationships and just to be honest and not arrogant, I had guys who were interested in me while I was taken and had opportunities for one-time flings. Yet I never took advantage of that and have always been loyal. I coldly hiss at guys when they hit on me. However, I have been cheated on multiple times.

I don't know if it applies to us or not cuz my G. F is definitely Clever-Alpha-Woman but at the same-time kinda SELECTIVELY-INTROVERT and even I am just like her. I am outgoing person but there is a limit, and as far couple I don't think it matters as long as other partner is not jealous or stupid, there is assumption in my area, where people tend to morph Extrovert behavior with dis-loyalty or mistake it for cheating. You have to kinda deal with it cuz being extrovert got absolutely nothing to do with his character and in our case, everybody knows we are DEAD-LOYAL to each-other. Furthermore I believe that sometime your gagging/uncontrolled chatting with your bae's is gona irritate him (sometime her friends and Ho-HA irritates me). Apart from this its just a normal couple and She is just confident, loving and caring woman... but I know men tend to go far introverts cuz they believe they can dominate them, at the same-time other don't care about stuff like that (like me) and have other wired requirements. I will accept tho Extro-female and intro-male couple are rare cuz latter usually lacks courage and confidence to ask her out, while former being extrovert is still a female and won't make a first move. This lack of confidence and communication skill can make male life Hell and he will complain, She dominates him but usually (from my experience) behind that outgoing Veil is a very intelligent, sensitive, loving and caring person, while these silent, cold and calculating introvert bitches are always upto something. I have seen introverts stung my friends way to much as compare to Extro...
Hmm interesting question, because at my core I’m introverted but I’m also extremely comfortable with meeting people and act like I’m super social because I am.
I just enjoy my personal time and the ability to relax alone. I have several hobbies and I can keep myself entertained all day if need be with no problem just extroverted people gain their energy and enjoy relaxing with people than being alone.
There’s no wrong way or anything, my lady is extroverted while I’m not yet I’m a good dancer at parties, go up to people and engage them pleasantly with deep conversations, etc.
It’s possible for anyone to date someone who has different opinions/ way of living their lives just as long as there’s mutual respect amongst them
Well I think this relationship bis a good balance. Similar to if someone is serious and needs someone who is upbeat and the opposite of serious. Personally, I am an extroverted girl and the guys who recently talk to me are introverted. Of course they are a bit insecure or shy but I am able to break them out of their shells because I stay upbeat, outgoing, bright and always up for an adventure and they seem to really love that about me. I'm usually the one who is wanting to taking traveling trips while they want to stay at home. I think this couple can learn a lot from one another in my opinion. Extroverted girls can teach introverted guys to let loose and have fun while introverted guys can teach extrou girls to stay at home sometimes or really get them to be humble. Whether it is an odd couple to people everyone needs something that is the opposite of them sometimes to show then something new. If we all went for someone serious because we're serious there would be no fun or no challenges to be accomplished. I love this couple and as I said I am an extroverted girl who talks to introverted guys and they have never been happier!! 🤗🤭
That sounded pretty bad. I mean that extroverts occupy the same social space as a lot of other people (typically) which means you're just exposed to more opportunities. Extroverts are certainly not any more likely to cheat, they just have more people to provide opportunities with.
I'm not introverted, I love talking to people. I just have social anxiety and lock up meeting new people on my own. I would want my partner to be outgoing and interactive BECAUSE she would be my gateway to people. Otherwise we're both just spending time on our own, and that'll just burn out the relationship.
Now, do I think extroverted women want a seemingly shy loner-type? No, no I do not. I can't imagine the circumstances leading someone who spends their time alone to somehow meeting, let alone becoming intimate with, someone who thrives on big social interactions.
I think the reason why I don't mind an introverted boyfriend is because I actually don't like to mix my dating life or romantic relationship with my social life with friends and peers. I think these two things have their own distinct places.
To be honest I think it's cool I used to be an introvert and I guess I still into a certain point at least I take that opportunity when I can be work has made me become an extrovert in so many different ways it's hard to find that balance I do like both introvert as a introvert I think it is hot did the extrovert girl because she will bring passion seduction out of you and it's the same time introvert will bring out softness a very slow soft but deep touch flowmotion passion and I think the both of them we're good together and me as an extrovert I like that I can be outgoing and to the point and it's the same time have that slows. I find it to be fairly rare. I am introverted myself and extroverted women tend to get bored or put off from introverts because they can't really read them well or get much enthusiastic conversation that excites them and leaves them feeling bored.
Now my girlfriend is the more extroverted one of the two of us when in public, but it is an even balance when around friends and family. It isn't impossible for that dynamic to work because it is the whole opposites attract and balance as well, but it is not something you see well on the surface level. Usually there is something that bonds the two together in that case be it values, personality, etc.

Given that I am generally an introvert unless it is a subject I know about or involves me making money or I am around known and trusted people them you will struggle to shut me up so yeah having an extrovert around could have it's uses
I have been there and it worked well but circumstances changed so we parted ways, romantically at least but remain friends
I've only ever dated two extroverted women and I never trusted either. And that dynamic has never worked. I always see her pretty much disrespect the guy and flirt in front of him or have him carry her bags and stuff and run off leaving him in the dust to catch up. It's sad to watch.
I can understand the matter of disrespect and I think a genuinely nice person would be willing to work on that, the dynamic can be pretty hard to handle especially for the first time. But flirting with others is absolutely unacceptable.
But I will tell you one thing: Even when I flirted with no one but had guy friends that I would sometimes joke and laugh with, that made my ex very jealous and he was being very possessive and telling me to cut them off. I didn't appreciate that.
its very hard for men to feel secure in a relationship today. the dynamic has switched up so much so fast. Right now we're in unknown territory. The laws dont help the situation. Even a guy that's pretty sure of himself, given the circumstances today we ask a lot of questions in our head. Especially with dating apps and social media and so many horrible stories of some women juggling 5, 6, 7 guys at a time without them even knowing she's messing with all of them at the same time. Many women know the art of manipulation very well. It's true there are men like that too, plenty. But today the good people are feeling insecure and being cheated on is very devastating in a different way for men than women. Both are equal but for a man the idea of his manhood comes into play. Some men can't take it and end themselves. Break ups are the leading cause for male suicide. People dont mention that.
I'm like a Finnish person in America with no idea how to communicate correctly, I find it cute but from experience of living with an extroverted sibling I would imagine that an extroverted girlfriend would be worse since it would be VERY disrespectful to ignore her trying to take you out to parties and such. The boyfriend might find himself about to have panic attack if he's an introvert because of social anxiety

It's probably not as common as it seems to me; it's just that most of the guys I hang around with are rather introverted, and in many cases, it's opposites that attract. But I can say it does happen, and if it works out for those involved, great.
It depends on their likes. We’re all intro/exo in some capacity. I think successful couples are more alike in this area. An introverted SO won’t like a partier.
the best definition of intro and exo is relating it to battery power. How do you recharge? If you're SO recharges the opposite from you, that could be an issue. Not saying it will be.

I think a great way to do this is to find a place where extravert guys gather like improv or theater for example and find one that's single and stands out to you
I don't see anything wrong with it, it's just not a dynamic that I want for my own relationship personally. I want to be the more extroverted of the two of us.
This was what I was a part of. My late ex was a people person, but like me, understood many people are foolish and dumb. I think the two can compliment each other.
"Getting the lay of the land" means that he is finding out about the feelings and intentions of others in a situation. In this case, he would just accept her as more extroverted until it was proven otherwise.

i prefer that myself I'm very introverted but an extroverted girlfriend would balance me out a bit. And who knows it may encourage myself to be more extroverted over time
I don't mind dating an extroverted girlfriend. As I am an omnivert (extrovert and introvert at different times) but I would very much want an extroverted girlfriend. that would add fun and excitement towards our relationship.
