I'm going to tell you the story of my interactions with American men online.
Ok so I'm a foreign girl who comes from relatively traditional countries. And in the past 6 years I've been interacting a lot with American men online. Mostly them DMing. I've built good friendship with many of them.
But i noticed one thing. They all have the same story (or pick up line?).
- women in America are sluts who don't make good wives /housewives, i want to marry a foreign girl because I'm giving up on American girls. Amerifan girls sleep around and have high body count.
- I got cheated on by an ex. My ex left me for another guy. My ex aborted our child. Etc. Etc.
- Foreign girls are prettier than American girls yadayada.
And so on.
I must say that American guys seem to be at a disadvantage in the relationship dynamics. In my culture i would say it's the opposite. There is high competition between women for quality men because women WANT to get married (it's a social expectation). Many women end up settling for mediocre guys because they're too afraid of being "veille fille", meaning a woman who never got married/had kids. Socially speaking a married woman is "a Rabbat beit" , master of home, and enjoys some status.
To get back to American men. Whenever i hear their sob stories i feel bad for them. But then I realised that a lot of them DON'T EVEN MEET THE STANDARDS THEY SET FOR WOMEN.
They themselves have slept around, they themselves aren't trustworthy. Sometimes they themselves are chubby and mediocre looking. And all i can think about is " look at a mirror?".
I don't think this is an issue inherently tied to men or women. But culture itself. Why didn't anyone try to think of this? What if the "dating culture" itself is the issue to begin with.
Date less and think more before engaging in sex. That's how your ancestors did it and how lots of the people in the world still do it.

Lots of people are attracted to others. It's their personality, and the personality differences that fucks everything up. It's got almost nothing to do with looks.
And some guys can find a good woman (pretty good looks, pretty good personality, who loves him) and he'll still cheat on her and fuck other girls, just for the thrill of the chase.
I just went on a date, and I'm definitely interested in sex, but I wasn't thinking about it at the time. What I really enjoyed was sitting with her in the wilderness and staring into her eyes for 5 minutes of silence.
I agree many women are not that attractive, but I wouldn't want to "just have sex with them" based on that. If a woman is not attractive to me, I'm not interested in having sex with her. I would much rather masturbate; it's simpler and more satisfying than an unsatisfying sexual experience, as well as not using a person as a sexual object.
I’m attracted to great partners, it just for sex. I look for partners that pull their weight and encourage me.
My last two relationships were woman that have the mentality of the man should pay for everything and do everything

BUT... Almost 3 in 4 men (73.7 percent) were considered to be overweight or have obesity; and about 2 in 3 women (66.9) were considered to be overweight or have obesity.
I read these numbers as follows:
35% of men are obese, meaning 38.7% of men are overweight = 73.7%
40% of women are obese, so 26.9% are overweight = 66.9%
This means 1 in 4 men are fit, and they're seeking the 1 out of 3 women are also fit.
Therefore, it's doubtful that fit men are dumping fit women because they're a hard to find commodity, so it must be overweight men dumping overweight women, and vice-versa !!!

I'm on the thicker side, but I gained weight from hormonal birth control that I'm working hard to lose. My boyfriend still wants to be seen out with me & show me off.
Some people just have a really hard time losing weight, don't sell the "fatties" short.
Even if an attractive lady comes along, if a guy isn't ready or willing to date, it isn't going to happen. It really has nothing to do with how attractive the partner is, it's the mentality of the individual.

This is NOT how I view dating and is one of the many reasons I don’t use dating apps anymore. But it is how attractive women are (often, not always) treated on these apps.

Maybe because they just don't want to be in a serious committed relationship. They have sex to satisfy their sexual needs and desires, but don't want to be tied down in a committed long-term relationship, for their own personal reasons

False. Guys only want sex is a myth. There are many guys that treat women with respect, but they tend to be looked as less attractive by society. Men who only want sex tend to be the ones that many women want and want to change. It's not in all cases but it's certainly more common for men who are more popular to fall in the category of only wanting sex.
I only date women I would consider marrying. If I've already decided I am not going to marry a girl I'm not going to bother having sex with her. It'll give her the wrong idea and awkward situations are inconvenient.
I think quite a few guys in my age would probably feel this way. But personally for me I’ve had my fill of drama and bs. sex is fine if you want quick fun and out but a partnership has become something I feel ready to enjoy.
Most of those guys end up being alone, childless (even if they have, their kids don't care about them) and when they are weak and old they just regret F*** ing around because they don't have a lovely family to live with. Just sitting on a chair alone drinking and taking depression pills
I believe being naturally ugly is very rare. Almost all of us have the capacity to be fairly good-looking.
I am a wait till marriage kind of guy, if I wasn't religious I'd be after sex but even then with a specific type of person, just has to be more go it, then again male or female we all will meet someone we could just fuck and live with it.
