If I called a guy arrogant to his face because he was being arrogant, was that wrong?

Is that insulting? Even if it’s true? I don’t sugarcoat things and what he was talking about with me and things he said and how he said them came off as very arrogant and I noticed this so many times before so I called him arrogant but in a teasing way and since then he hasn’t really spoken to me.

Arrogant people can be very close minded people, and the moment you confront them they can be like that " my way or no other way " and they just stop talking to you since they either can't face the fact that they were wrong or that they were criticized, or they just see themselves above everyone else and everyone who sees it different is just not worth their time. Arrogant people can be very weak people in that sense, so they just go away.
