Are sugar mommies relationships as common as sugar daddies?

Question

As in, an older woman paying a younger man for company and as a dynamic for a romantic relationship; just like the ''sugar daddy'' counterpart.

As a woman who is married to a much younger man (16 years younger) I'm pretty confident that they are not. From both my experience (and the experience of other women in relationships/marriages with younger men that I've talked to) older women who date younger men typically do so more so because the man they're with is the exception to the younger man rule in terms of maturity, place in life, willingness to commit, and compatibility with her in terms of life goals (All without her having to pay for him to be that way). Believe it or not 95% of the time the younger man seeks out the older woman. She's almost never looking for a younger man to be with (let alone pay to be with). He's the one that finds her. From what I understand none of what I described above is typically the case with sugar daddies (or mommies).

Well there is something enjoyable about a guy that isn't damaged yet. A older woman would enjoy a younger man's desire to please her and his ability to drool and obsess over her.
Generally speaking, where as an older guy would not want a woman he isn't visually into.

It's much less common. The women's friends and families are much more likely to find fault with it and the potential sugar momma is more likely to be sensitive to others' opinions than the potential sugar daddy. There is also still a very ingrained view among many women to "date up", rather than down. Finally, the easy availability of casual sex means she generally doesn't have to provide financial support for guys to have sex with her. Women also don't like to share, and they know that if their sugar baby is attractive to them, he also is to lots of other women and is messing around with multiple women.

Often I see younger men with older women, it's obvious he wants her for her money. A sugar mommy relationship is perhaps a bit more honest. Perhaps it's a cultural thing, young beautiful women often marry or become sugar babies, I mean beautiful 18 , 19 , 20 year olds looking for men 30 to 60! We accept that because men are culturally the providers, and women the careers of young children. Im sure the feminist police will arrest me for saying it. But the growth of the sugar baby industry proves that some want men to be the providers.

They aren't. While they exist there are less women who are interested in paying for sex/company. Most men aren't that interested either. But it's even fewer women.

Tthe majority of people have this weird thing where they want their partner to actually want them, which is why for iinstance incels rant all day instead of just hiring prostitutes.

Not common at all for two reasons:  1) women tend not to be attracted to much younger men 2) there are far fewer women with an income that would allow them to support a younger man.

I've never met another woman with a sugar daddy, but I've met two men who have had sugar mommies.  They lived in Vegas when they did though 🤷‍♀️

I had a sugar momma once for about a year lol. She had like 3 other “sugar babies” who were all guys and I was the only girl. But sugar moms aren’t too common, it’s mainly sugar daddies. A lot of cougars ont there though, lol.
