How do I get over some guy that engaged?

he stalked my social media accounts for months before I finally reached out to him since my curiosity was tingling. So we did sext and talk for many months. I knew him from my old highschool from 10 years ago so he wasn't a complete stranger. I lived abroad because I was still on my working holiday while he was in Scotland so we didn't meet up. I kinda fell for him because I thought he was my type of guy. We would mostly tall at the weekends since the time difference was 5 hours and I had work. I found his facebook and he got engaged to this girl only just last ocotber. Right now I'm struggling to get over him

Easy. Block him or delete him and never look back, eventually over time the less you see him the less you'll think about him

I have this friend that I liked but she was in a relationship so what I did was I muted all her posts and stories so I literally never see her. And now I dont think about her much

It's really weird how he keeps coming back from time to time and he watches my Instagram stories. What do you think he does this?

He's stringing you along thats what, he's tryna keep you on his side and is talking to you juuusst enough so you don't move on, because thing about it a person doesn't get engaged with someone they JUST met, no chances are when you use to talk to him he was also talking to her

Well yeah its been 10 years since I've seen him obviously he was eith others

Yes I am now but before I didn't talk to him for most of my 20s

It'll just take time. Distract yourself as much as possible and before long you'll have moved on. You were excited by the idea (because you didn't or rarely seen him in person), so now that you know he's not available, shouldn't take long to move on.

Being there's some history there, you may need to cut him out of your life completely. But don't just ghost him, just be honest. Something like "so I came across your Facebook and see that you are engaged. I'm going to have to stop relating to you."
