Boyfriend threatened to break up with me because I dyed my hair without his permission? (Page 2)

So basically my natural hair color is dark brown but I kept dying it red. I was tired of having dark roots so I bought some dark brown hair dye but it turned black on my hair. I really loved the black because it looks good with my skin tone. But my boyfriend got soooo Angry and upset that i dyed my hair hair without telling him. He said remember before I told you I’d break up with you if you’d dye your hair, you said you wouldn’t but you did. You look old and like a slut. I was crying all day, he made me feel sooo much guilt. I felt awful. He said he will break up with me. I didn’t tell him because I knew he’d say no. But it’s my hair and I think I have a right to look the way I feel comfortable. I don’t tell him how to dress or what to do with his hair. Is it wrong that I’m so upset? Doe he have a right to threatened me about such things. I feel like I committed a crime. He made me feel so bad.
