For me i first choose to be single till i finished college, some of ya know my reasons for it, then recently I decided to try dating again. (Haven't dated since I was 15) Know what I learned. I am not a girlfriend. It's not in me as of yet. The reason? I really have no interest in dating because I can't find someone to keep me interested over 2 weeks. I quickly lose interest and move on. So instead of hurting someone's feelings by making them feel like they are boring, I think it's best to not date. Plus the freedom of being single for 5+ years makes me hesitant to lose that. I'm sure one day someone will keep my interest, but I don't know rn, I ain't found it.
