I think I am a keeper and I have been in several long term relationships that lasted uo to 20 years, but I made some mistakes in choosing partners and I have learned from those mistakes. I am in a long term relationship now, living with my girlfriend, and occasionally contemplating the possibility of marriage in the future.

But I think the term "keeper" is subjective, like most things in life. For example, what people define as attractive. Just because I assume I'm a keeper, men may not feel the same for whatever reason. And that's okay! I'm sure as heck not going to stress over if others think I'm a keeper or not.

Financially, I have a stable, good-paying job with a 3 story house and a Tesla. I'm well aware you can't just "be financially successful" and expect girls to like you. And with the right girl, this shouldn't matter anyway, beyond the general "reaching for your passions and ambitions" that should be attractive to everyone.

I don't think I'm super egotistical, though I'm not sure that's for me to judge. I'm not terrified of apologies, if necessary, and don't have too many problems discussing my feelings in a calm way. I like to think I'm emotionally aware. I'm generally decent at being a moderating force between conflicting groups.

Physically, I'm 6'2" and think I have a decent face. I'm 200lb and more of that is fat than I would like, but I'm not chubby or obese.

I mean I've gotten a bit lazy about things but that happens as a single guy because there isn't shit to do. So much of everything I want to do involves a partner.

I also like giving and receiving romantic gestures and don't usually dismiss them as cheesy.

I mean clearly the #1 reason I'm not taken is because I don't put myself out there much. I grew up around women who had bad experiences with guys giving them unwanted attention, so giving girls the attention they seem to be expecting feels unnatural and invasive to me. #2 is probably just high standards.

I wouldn't describe myself as a keeper - A lot of people I know blame "bad luck" and even men (or women) for their lack of a relationship. In most (note: not all) cases, that is simply not true. For one, these people attract and accept the wrong partners. They're also far less suited to a relationship than they believe. Like take me for an instance - I live on my own planet and barely pay attention to the men I'm with as actual people. As a result, they don't really know me and I don't know them - until we grate each other and break up. Am I a nice person who is capable of love? Am I decent-looking and accomplished? Absolutely. But I am also too happy-go-lucky and self-absorbed for a relationship, which is why I am single right now. I am not a keeper and I did not really choose men who were keepers either. Maybe one day that will change?

I voted F, and I have several female friends who know both of us, say they can't understand why.
I see two possibilities for why my latest love interest didn't happen. Either she thinks she doesn't deserve better (she has some deep seated issues that she admits this), or I messed up and didn't work to her time frame (I wasn't making it happen fast enough).

In my youth (not THAT much different today), I fully admit when I'm wrong. But if I wasn't then I don't back down. Previous girlfriends believed "I got the tits, so I'm 'always' right!" That never flew with me. Nowadays, I pick and choose my battles. Those that matter, I stand my ground.

That's the only difference between me then and now.

I've been single all my life b/c every time I've liked someone, he's either already in a relationship, not interested, not wanting to date right now, or something. Low self-esteem has prevented me from "putting myself out there", and then just last year I had my time wasted by a guy who acted like he was into me for months, only to abruptly start going hot and cold, then just spring it on me the last time we hung out that he'd "entered into a relationship type situation" with another girl.
So yeah. I try to tell myself I'm a keeper all the time but apparently not

I used to think I was, women would tell me I was the perfect guy but not available. Now I'm not so sure I am. Two failed marriages and never doing it again, maybe I'm the problem or maybe they just wanted someone to take care of them.

Whatever people think they are, are irrelevant. Their looks on the other hand, are relevant Very much! People can lie to themselves and ignore the truth as much as they want, but looks matters A Lot!! If you look like shit, even though you are a true keeper, nobody will notice you, But if you are a Handsome looking guy or a beautiful looking girl, both guys and girls be over you regardless of your ""keeper"" position.

I think i am, I'm kind, caring, considerate, loving, romantic and stuff like that I've been told I'm funny and smart not sure on those tho.

The issues are tbag I have no confidence, anxiety, depression, sleep issues and eating issues so I have a fair few things fhayg I think would make people not want to keep me.

I'd like to think I'm a keeper as. my best friend as always said good things about me that I would be a keeper and that. But I've not been on a. datw. ans. honestly she's the only person who thinks I even have a chance dating.

I've never been broken up with in my life out of a serious relationship. Casual flings like dated a month yes but never an official relationship. Also been asked to propose to women and get them pregnant by numerous women. So i am definitely in demand and considered a keeper. 😊

My female friends have told me I'm a keeper. I just haven't been kept because I don't tolerate lies. I have yet to find that one that would be 100% honest with me. I'm laid-back and non-judgmental.
