So the girl I asked out last week, I let her know whe I was available and she messaged me last night with this:
"Hi, I was meant to message you this week. I went on that date on Friday and things seem to be going well with them. I don’t want to say that it’s 100% going to work but I also wouldn’t want to say yes to you if anything does come of it. I honestly really appreciate the offer as you are such a lovely person but I don’t think it would be the best idea right now x"
Is this a "there's still a chance" or a polite way of trying to say a definitive no? Because I've been in the situation of being drawn along with a maybe far too many times in the past and I'd rather know now if I'm wasting my time.
Thanks for reading.
