Guys, Should I believe my boyfriend?

My friend who is very attractive and single wanted to know if my boyfriend had a friend he could set her up with. I had just had a fight with my boyfriend so I said she should ask him herself. So she texted him and he responded that he was interested in her and asked if she wanted to meet up. When she told me I lost it at him. He said that he thought we were both messing with him so that's why he was just messing with us back. I told her to continue with it and say not to tell me to see what he did. He just kept flirting with her and said he would meet up with her. Should I believe that he was just messing with us?

If she texted him about one of his friends to set her up with then it doesn't make sense why he would let her know that he's interested in her. Looks like he got caught slipping and had to find some excuse to back pedal himself out of trouble. I dont agree with what you did after in asking your friend to initiate flirting with him. Its basically as if you set him up. doesn't make what he did any better and I think both of you can learn from this on how to handle future situations better but I do believe he was lying.

NOTHING , if its not meant to be , its not meant to be , it sounds like he's had enough of the drama , and he seriously likes her , just let it be. Set him free , dont try and stop him.
