Like he is fine with being in pics which are non-romantic and it looks like you are friends but any couple pics like with holding hands or you even announcing him as your boyfriend on social media is against; he is fine with you announcing you are taken but not by whom. Essentially most people on social media wouldn't know you guys are dating unless you outright stated it in a post or on your story.

Of course! It's not a problem at all because everyone has their opinions and boundaries to their privacy. I personally do not like my face being on social media and even if I was a fan of social media, I would feel the need to respect everyone and anyone for their personal boundaries of being exposed on the internet.
