Why are so many men so desperate and willing to accept anybody nowadays without any standards?

Question

I get it it's hard to find a date for a lot of guys, but really to say you'd date a woman with hairy pits and hairy legs, date a woman who's 300 pounds, date a 70 year old woman, a woman who's slept with every guy in town. These pathetic guys are willing to take anything without any standards whatsoever just to be a "pick me" desperate guy. It's sad. Guys, have you no standards or shame? Women do, and are very picky too.

I seem to have noticed a lot of guys jumping into a relationship, just because the girl/woman is into them.
As if it doesn't matter what kind of person they are, or at least very little.
Or that the only thing that matters is that she's hot, gives sex, and/or cooks for them.

And honestly, I fear ending up with a dude who is just with me because I was there and "willing".

And yeah, not all are like that, but I just see it a lot and I fear just being "a faceless girlfriend" because I was there.
