How would you react if your date was mean to waitress at restaurant?

You go on a first date with someone and it seems like they are cool but then they start acting mean and rude to the waitress because they got a regular Coke instead of a Diet Coke.

As for me I would walk up to the waitress & apologize to her for starters. In addition I would tell her I was on my first & my last date as well. I would ask her for my half of the bill, pay it & tip her well for putting up with bullshit & walkout a side door & laugh as the waitress hands my date her half of the bill.

I'd tip the waiter/waitress for the disrespect.

I will politely excuse myself for the night. Sorry but a man who thinks he can act nice and cool with me but treats others like poop, he is not worth my time. I’ve been a waitress myself and don’t have tolerance for people who lack gratitude and humbleness with those that serve them.

Tell them to cool down or otherwise ask what is going on. If this is how they would normally treat waitresses, then that would be a major turn off.
