What do you think of people who get gut feelings about people?

Some people say they can sense if the person they are seeing is bad news or if a person is meant for them.

Has this ever happened to you?

I usually rely on logic and analysis and consequences and not spontaneous feelings

I’ve only ever had feelings about a dangerous man who approached me twice

But I had dreams warning me twice

And I had people warn me once as well

I wonder if it’s possible to get gut feelings about somebody being right for you, where you just know that they are

They are sometimes right. It depends on the reason. A stupid reason: "I don't trust people who drive German cars/don't go to church/whatever." A good reason: "It's hard to describe, but I feel like they aren't telling the truth, at least not all of it." They could be right even if they can't say what puts them off.

Well your gut picks up on a lot more things than you do so it's important to take note of it. If I feel like weird or unsafe around someone, I'll trust my gut because it's probably picking up on something very off about the person's behaviour that my brain isn't paying attention to. We humans don't like to believe something unless we see it for ourselves but when it comes to our gut, we shouldn't ignore it.

I am living proof of this statement thank you for your response 🙏🏽long story short something happend to me I listened to my gut and let's just say if I didn't listen to my gut I'd probably be dead but other than that story I listen to my gut all the time and I've never been wrong when I did

Yeah sometimes IL get a bad feeling but I always give a person a chance if I get betrayed or something that's it for me I'm done with that person I never judge anyone by there past it depends on what that bad thing is too tho. But sure nothing wrong with being safe u get a gut feeling check it out lol do alittle inspector gadget on your own lol!

I am one of those people who get gut feelings about people and decisions. I have to say that they are 90% accurate. When I’ve got against them, the result was negative or disastrous.

This happens to me all the frickin time when I meet people. My gut has never been wrong… so far.
Not even with meeting people but bad situations, I pick up on vibes and just energy real easy. Like a frickin sixth sense or something

Gut feelings are logical but they're done subconsciously picking up on little clues that tell you something not quite right.
The problem with thinking is we're prone to choosing people because of a few characteristic and deliberately overlooking their faults. We've also been taught not to discriminate and that too can cloud our judgement. That's why I don't believe in thinking.

I am a person like that. I've always had gut feelings about people since I was an older teenager. It's helped me stay away from some bad people, and got me out of bad situations.

It comes to me like scent, good or bad, the a twisting anxiety in my stomach. Every time I failed to heed warning I got back stabbed. 😂

i feel this a lot. I can meet somebody and get a good indication of what they are like in about 5 minutes. I am rarely mistaken.

Trump supporters felt "he was their man", likely because he told them what they "wanted to hear". I knew from the moment he said "mexicans are rapists" on live tv that he was not my man. That he was, a racist

Gut feelings can be wrong. They should be explored before projecting them onto others.

I've always been talked to go with my gut feeling first don't do something contrary to your better judgment. The majority of the time your gut feeling your instinct will be correct. As to how it works I have no earthly idea.

Follow what you feel and never go agsinst it, i know from personal experience going against my gut has gotten me in trouble!!

True, but sometimes gut feelings are miss leading because they are at times controlled by missed emotions and wrong judgement, I have seen that more than once

Well I have the Holy Spirt in me that tells me things about people. I pray a lot that he shows me stuff
