How do I tell the difference between he is playing hard to get because he wants to know whether you are truly interested or he is playing hard to get because he is not interested in you? He responds after a few days and is very minimal in conversation. If I ask to catch up, he will respond quickly.

We caught up last week. He had the flu before that for 2 weeks.
When we caught up, He said he was still a little unwell.
He was asking what I thought of how he looked and if he had changed from when I last saw him.
He was mentioning a restaurant that he liked and even showed me a photo. I guess he was hinting we go there.
Mentioned that he is not the type to just pick up any girl.
He even asked me, if I would ride his motorcycle with him. I said,, ah I’m not sure.
He seemed surprise and asked, you don’t want to ride my motorcycle? I said yeah sure, if the road isn’t too busy.
The night ended and he told me to text him when I got home.
