I'm actually the one who doesn't like going to the movies. Reason for my answer is this: If I sit too close to the screen I normally end up with a migraine headache. People talking during the movie are totally annoying especially when they're sitting very close to me. If they want to talk, they should go to the lobby! I watch movies on my laptop, cheaper no one talking. Am an introvert who does not enjoy being at large parties (even small ones). People in general I don't care to deal with. If I have to be nice, I do then make my way out the door/walk away.

Let's think about this: a man that rather stay at home and watch a movie online or stream it to avoid crowds and overpriced tickets.
Save money on overpriced movie snacks, and loud people at the movies?

Depends on why and if that mindset goes for other outdoors or public activities. I'm not much for hiding away for long periods at the time.
I need to feel like I'm living. Not like I am dreaming of living through fiction and fanbase.

It depends. Do they hate going out to see movies, or do they hate movies in general? If it's the former, I can understand as I'm sort of an insider myself and would rather prefer watching a movie at home than in some smelly theater where you can constantly hear the teenagers in the upper row going furiously at it 💦

I'm the one that dislikes going to the movies and it's due to bad experiences. Mostly people screwing with their phones or taking on their phones during the movie or people loudly talking during the movie. Also don't get me started about people bringing their kids that can't behave. So I'd rather stream a movie at home rather then watch one at the theater.

Going to the movies is fun! It's not a deal breaker. We can always watch movies at home. But if they weren't willing to compromise and go to movie premieres occasionally then we probably aren't meant to work out long term.

I just wait for it to come out, then stream it in the comfort of my own home. A nice setup, you don't have to get dressed or drive and if necessary you can pause. You don't have to deal with people kicking your seat, people being loud, kids crying, or people on their phones.

And it doesn't smell like stale popcorn.
