I took my friend's man but then she called me ugly. Who's in the wrong here?

About a year ago, my friend at the time was going out with my now-boyfriend. They weren't that serious and he was never really that into her. I started texting him because he started flirting with me. He told me not to tell her, so I didn't. He eventually broke up with her and started dating me, and he said he had always preferred me anyways. My friend was heartbroken over him but started dating someone new, and her new boyfriend also seemed to prefer me over her. I started flirting with him to see if he would reciprocate, and he started liking my pics on instagram.

My old friend then sent me a huge essay over text telling me what a "horrible person" I supposedly am, when I didn't even make the first move with these guys. They wanted me. She said she thinks I'm jealous and she called me "ugly inside and out" and that those men were out of my league anyway. Basically a bunch of verbal abuse and a jealous tirade. I showed my boyfriend and he was shocked and said she's a b***.

Who was in the wrong here?

It's not my fault because I actually really like him and he's still my boyfriend after all this time. Is she just jealous?
