As you said, I wouldn’t generalize, but from my experience would not recommend. Too controlling and angry, all his friends were the same way. I got out once a psychic said things would only escalate if I stayed and I believe it would’ve.

I have lived in SE Asia which contains lots of Muslims. You will be immersed in the Muslim culture even if your guy is not religious.
