Why is dating so hard for most men nowadays?

I understand both genders have their own struggles but it just seems like when women complain it’s because they can’t get the guy they want or the options they have are unattractive. Seems like almost every women nowadays wants a handsome guy even the unattractive or overweight women. Like they’d rather compete for that, rather than dating in range. Some men do also try and date up but come to a realization. most men probably have no options , almost every women you run across is taken or emotionally attached to someone. Dating apps don’t work at all most the women you’d run across are looking for validation, promoting social media accounts. Almost like women have unlimited options especially with the internet and social media on the rise, has it always been like this?

If there are equal numbers of men and women, it's equally difficult for men and women to find partners. Imagine that there are 1,000 single men and 1,000 single women. A year later there are 500 single men and 500 single women. Half the men and half the women formed partnerships. However, in areas where there is an imbalance in the sexes, it will be more difficult for the gender in surplus and easier for the gender in shortage. In the US there is a surplus of single men on the west coast, and a surplus of single women on the east coast.

No one is teaching young men how to live and treat women well. It's like you said; there are problems on both sides, but women were depending on us to love and support them better than we were doing. Now we have feminism and uber bitches running around without having any good men to prove those women wrong.

Oh trust me bro it's social media in general. 20 years ago all you had to have as a man was guts. that's it and you were taken. The men who never asked a girl out probably never had anyone but it was there fault. But back when social media wasn't around most men were in a relationship. And it's a fact

Don't forget that in your age group, men outnumber women, and some women in your age group date older men. Women may think they have unlimited options, but that only applies to hookups, not to real relationships, where the pool of compatible men is much smaller.

It should get easier as you get older. I know that's not much comfort now, and meeting someone can anyhow be completely random. Just remember the real difficulty is finding someone you have chemistry with.

Well no its not always been like this. I think social media and dating apps has made dating harder. Because most men and women now have greater access to more attractive people that otherwise they'd never have been able to get close to before.

So truth is that everyone on dating apps are there more or less there, because they can't find people in thier day to day lives to date. And they are all a little sensitive about it.
