About 3 months ago, a local guy reached out to me and we started talking on social media. Ended up Having some great conversations and went on a group date with some friends. About 5 days later he dropped off and stopped talking. When I brought it up, to clear the air, he said he was sorry and should’ve done more. That’s fine. I accepted that and started to move on. Was finally in a good place to not be bothered when I saw him. He continued to like my stories in IG and comment here and there, but nothing more.
A week ago he reaches out again. We end up going on another group date. Wonderful time was had and we set up another day date later that week. Again. It was a wonderful time. Amazing. I walked away from it smiling all day. Fun and laughter was had by both. This time it was just us which was nice to get to see more of who he was in his own element.
Now, 48 hours later I get a message from him saying he appreciates me and my time but need to let me know he is giving his ex a “good old fashioned second chance”. I’ll openly admit this took my by surprise, based on some of the things that happened and conversations that were had. Not really sure what to do with this information. If it’s my fault? If I was played? I don't know.
