I dated a guy for over a month and never knew he had a daughter. He never brought her up, ever. Is this a red flag?

Perhaps he felt you’d lose interest. Or to protect his daughter. My previous neighbours broke up over that. New girlfriend was mean to his daughter. Women like men won’t treat their step children as nicely as their own.

No why should he talk about his daughter unless you bring up the topic, as long as he hasn't lied there is no red flag. It's just you not asking the right question, if that was important to you.

Maybe the daughter isn't a big part of his life. I wouldn't automatically assume this was a red flag
