Should I show interest in short guys at school?

I literally just look at them. Every other guy acts like a dumb asshole and tries to keep me as far away as possible if I look at them more than twice, but, I always hear short guys just have soooo much trouble getting dates. So, maybe some of them would like to know they have a chance with me.

But, I think I might be hideous or something due to what I already said, though I don't think I look that bad.

Sorry if it comes off dehumanizing, that's just how people tend to treat me. I understand that males are people, even though they don't seem to understand that about me.

So, anyway, am I also not allowed to look at, and maybe want to date, guys who happen to be short?

Men can be extremely cruel to short guys. I dated one and the comments other guys would make about him, often when I was right there sitting next to him were horrible. I couldn't believe they could be so cruel about something a guy has literally no control over. My short ex was deeply insecure about his height. He hated being short. It never bothered me that he was about a whole head shorter than I was, but in the end, he cheated at every opportunity. I think he just wanted to test his market value and prove to himself that he is attractive to women (which he very obviously was).

I'm telling you this story as a cautionary tale. He is not the only short guy I dated, like you, I have no preferences regarding height. However, I avoid short guys now because in my experience they are just too insecure, full of anger and other issues. So be careful, especially in your age group, it might be difficult to find a short guy who is confident and mature enough to accept himself as he is. If you do find someone like that, definitely go for it and ignore the haters!

You are allowed to date whoever you like and I am sure you are not hideous! Maybe how you approach guys puts them off, more likely they are just jerks in general.

So you compromising on dating a short guy because you can't get a tall guy?

I don't really specifically look for tall guys, I actually kind of like short guys better. They're just more common in my school, so I've happened to notice, and attempt to pursue them first. I wouldn't be picky based on height though, I just know short guys are always complaining about being just so lonely, and I've been unlucky with the first guys I've seen.

Medium/tall guys treat me like trash for just looking at them, so you could say I'm not allowed to date them. I'm wondering if shorter guys are the same.
