I don't like him but why am I mad he got a girlfriend?

Help me out here. So this guy I was convinced I don't like, or only liked a bit, he got a girlfriend. Now I feel mad but am in denial about it and trying to convince myself I'm not. What's wrong with me? Why am I mad at this when I should be happy if I don't like him that much?

That's what I thought!, in the past when I totally wasn't interested I wouldn't have cared. I just thought this was wasn't at all my type so assumed I didn't like him.

Honestly there may not have been any attraction in the beginning, but maybe he’s grown on you over time without you noticing. It could even be a thing to where now that he’s seeing someone, it sort of shows him as dateable, you know? Like wondering what she sees in him to be his girlfriend and there are qualities you didn’t really notice before...

Yeah that is very true also, I feel that I shouldn't be selfish though. I clearly didn't want him before so I'm just gonna convince myself not to be jealous and to be happy for them I guess. Haha
