Do you think I did the right thing?

Little over a year ago I matched with a girl on a dating website. She decided to just be friends. Then recently she asked me to help her with her new job (interview me about finances). She then invited me to eat dinner with her (while also telling me she had a boyfriend). A week later I had to turn some papers to her and we met at a coffee shop and talked about life for like an hour. Just before that she said her boyfriend insisted her asking me if I would go for her if she was single. I basically said no (which was a lie). A few days later I confessed to her that I still have feelings for her and we should limit our interactions with each other. I also told her I don't want to become a problem with her boyfriend because he sounded jealous/threatened. She said she appreciates that and said that she likes our friendship and I'm a good guy and all. So we are still friends but did I do the right thing by telling her how I feel? I don't want to be "Mr. Steal your girl".

Fu** off these people, she is using you for her benefits and as a plan b and her boyfriend is a freak for letting her go around with boys like that, why the hell is she on dating app if she has a boyfriend, she either a liar or they r both creeps, anyway you deserve better than someone using you

she did not cheat on him with you...

and she even tells him that you are a friend so... I do not see a problem here

if you're not comfortable with the things as they are, and want distance, then you just do that alright
