So, I've liked this boy for about a year (we are in middle school by the way) but we don't go to the same school together we are just on the same swim team. Yesterday I took him aside and told him I liked him and he said "oh" then proceeded to giggle and smile at me. My mom, dad, uncle, aunt, and my best friend all say that he for sure likes me, but he didn't tell me he liked me back (fyi I also may have told him he didn't have to say anything). this was the conversation "Hey (his name) can I talk to you?" Him "Mhm, what's up?" Then after we were off the bleachers because there were a lot of people on them I said "(his name) I... I've like you, more than a friend, and I've liked you for about a year now... technically I liked you ever since we first met..." him "oh *laughs and smiles okay" Me "you don't have to say anything, I just kinda wanted you to know" I then proceeded to hold the door open for him and then he said goodnight and waved goodbye. That was the whole interaction, now I'm here stressing cuz i don't know what will happen when I go to swim practice today... Help
I confessed to my crush and he smiled... does this mean he likes me?
