If a guy takes you back to place after a date, does it automatically mean physical activity is expected?

I had a drink at our 1st date, which was a lunch. I assumed he was being polite offering to hang out at his place for me to get sober. (It was walking distance.)

Or could it be possible I misread him that he wanted to be physical?

That depends on the guy. I never expect anything from a date except civil behavior. I had a woman share my bed after a night of ice skating when she was not safe to drive herself home. I was going to sleep on the sofa but she invited me to bed if I could behave. That's never a problem for me. What kind of man wants to have sex with an unwilling or unenthusiastic partner?

He wanted sex. Don't go unless it's been a couple of dates and you know him. There are many guys who pay for lunch/dinner and will try yo take the girl at his place for sex. When the girl says no, he'll force saying I paid for food you have to have sex as a favour. Like WTF!

Only weirdos expect it. He wouldn’t be opposed to doing it but if the mood doesn’t call for it and you’re not comfortable with it than it won’t happen. Shoot id be happy to know a girl was comfortable coming over to my house after one date.

In this instance I don't think it's expected. At night though? I'd say there's a good chance it's at least desired.

Not expected but definitely wanted
