I met this guy through mutual friends but started talking recently, we talked for quite a bit and we have hung out once. We had an amazing time and spent 2 days straight together as he slept over at my place, we had good conversation and had a connection where we felt we knew each other for years. We made it clear that we were both not interested in hooking up. When we separated, he initiated all conversations and was texting me first. We made plans to hang out this weekend.
Recently, he has been taking a long time to reply (even though he is active on social media, clearly ignoring me) and is giving very short answers. I know that we only have hung out technically once, so I can not be expecting things to happen automatically, however, he probably is talking to other girls which is understandable, I do know he is on dating apps. However, I know what I want in the end and don't like my time wasted, is it too early to ask where his head is at and what he looking for? or would that just scare him off?
