Most girls say 'i like to dress for myself' but does this also apply to when you go out on a date? Are you dating for you AND the guy on dates? or still just you?

Only because I would answer this way

I dress for MYSELF and take into CONSIDERATION what the guy might find stunning on me.

(Not what he would WANT me to wear)...

I MAY once I know the man, wear something I know he likes like a v neck t with a logo of his fav sports team or fish net stockings if je is into such things...

Again not because its what he expects me to wear something particular but because

I WANT TO WEAR IT.

I always dress for myself, even when I'm going on a date. Now, when I had a boyfriend, there were certain things he especially liked when I wore them, so I would often take into consideration what he liked. But when dating, no I don’t particularly give a rats anus what he would like. I want to feel comfortable, and look good for mySELF, if he likes it too, well I guess that’s a bonus.

I dress mostly for myself, but also if he doesn’t like what I’m wearing, then we’re not a good match. I don’t dress up all girly and pretty everyday. Im more of a sweatpants and t-shirt girl, not a sparkly dress with heels girl.

My boyfriend fake gags at me whenever I dress up all fancy and pretty for special events 😂 because he loves how I dress on a normal day.

I mainly dress for myself on dates. Some days that captures the male gaze and others the female gaze.

Depending on my mood I will power dress on a date but thats for power and to have a personal giggle at how easy it is to short circuit men.

The closest thing I do to dressing for a man is if I'm out with his friends or family and I know how much it means to his ego to be see with a well dressed woman.

Thank goodness I don't have a Feminist answer. Caring about my man's tastes is a kind of love language for me. That's why I prefer clothes that I like and I'm sure he will like too.

I'm wearing clothes I bought so it's for myself when I picked them out. I do pick out things in my closet that my date might think looks cute or sexy. Like if I decide to show cleavage. So it's a bit of both really.
